Attendance at MechComp2018 conference

Hello everyone!

Last month, I attended the 4th International Conference on Mechanics of Composites (MechComp 2018) in Madrid, Spain where I presented the recent outputs of my work.

This was one of my last conferences within TRUSS and my presentation focused on fatigue behaviour and micro-structural analysis of braided BFRP rebars for civil engineering applications (co-authored by Ciaran McNally).

This 4-days conference was held in University Carlos III Madrid, from the 9th until the 12th of July 2018, with more than 300 delegates from all over the world.
The main conference topics include composite structures and durability of composite materials, FRP reinforced concrete structures, design and application of composites, as well as advanced experimental techniques and simulation of FRPs.

This event was certainly an other excellent opportunity for me to demonstrate my research to the international composite materials community and share ideas with other attendees, researchers and professionals from both industry and academia.

Enjoy the summer!
See you soon :)
